Seniors:
1) Quote & Future Plans form - there are small forms I need you to fill out for the yearbook. These forms are used for a senior quote and future plans after graduation. You can find the forms in the office and may return them to the office and place them in the gold box no later than March 1st, 2012. Thank you.
p.s. All quotes will be reviewed by administration before they will be submitted.
2) Just a reminder to turn in your senior picture and future plans to Mrs. Christiansen so they can be put in the cafeteria display case.
3) When you complete your local scholarship application, please EMAIL it to Mrs. Christiansen at tchristiansen@hdcsd.org. The deadline is February 15.
4) Senior Spotlight Time ! Stop in the office, pick up and fill out the "Senior Spotlight" form for KLMJ and return it to the "gold box" on the office counter.
Every year they highlight local schools on the air. All of these will be recorded by your class officers and then aired sometime late April.
Please get these filled out and returned no later than March 15th. Don't be left out.
Fianancial Aid Rep here during P-T Conferences During Parent/Teacher conferences on Feb. 14 & 16, a college financial aid representative will be here to work with families free of charge to complete the FAFSA. This is done by individual appointment. If your family would like to take advantage of this opportunity, please contact Mrs. Christiansen to schedule an appointment time.
Scholarship application reminder The Franklin County REC wants to remind everyone that the applications for the $1000 Basin Scholarships are due on February 3 and the Youth Tour application deadline is March 9.

Free student tax preparation The Franklin County Extension Office will be offering free student tax preparation services here on Thursday, Feb 9 and Thursday, Feb 16 from 4-6 pm.You must have an appointment. Please let Mrs. Christiansen know if you are interested.
Humanities Day on Feb. 28 Ellsworth Community College will be hosting its annual Humanities Day on Feb. 28 for high school students. Workshops are designed for all ages of high school students who enjoy acting, art, music and writing. There is no cost to attend. However students are responsible for their own transportation. For more information and a registration form, please see Mrs. Christiansen.
The H-D local scholarship application is due February 15. Seniors... The application is found on School Fusion (under guidance) and must be emailed back to Mrs. Christiansen by Feb. 15.

Congratulations to the 2012 H-D Show Choir for receiving unanimous Division I's from the 3 judges at the State Show Choir Contest that was held at Belmond on Monday, January 30th.
Boys tennis sign-up sheet is in the office. A organizational meeting will be held soon to order shirts. Hampton-Dumont is sharing boys tennis with Iowa Falls-Alden this upcoming season.
